SCHOLARSHIP POLICY – SESSION 2026–27
The scholarship scheme is intended to promote talent and the advancement of knowledge and provides financial assistance in the form of a scholarship applicable to tuition fees, subject to the eligibility criteria and terms below.

3. Scholarship Eligibility & Award Structure
3.1 DKNET Scholarship

Applicable to candidates taking admission during the period beginning 15 March 2026 to 30 September 2026, as stated in the supplied policy.
3.2 Scholarship based on Percentage / CGPA

3.3 Other Admission-Based Scholarships

Alumni of Dr. K. N. Modi Educational Institutions | 20% of the 1st Semester tuition fee. |
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao | 10% of the Semester tuition fee, or a maximum of Rs. 5,000, whichever is lower, for all girl candidates in UG & PG programmes. |
Wards of Defence Personnel | 10% of Semester tuition fee, maximum Rs. 3,000 per semester. |
Outstanding Achievers in Sports | 30% of Semester Fee; documentary proof of participation/performance required. First-semester award; continuation decided by a committee constituted by the Competent Authority. |
3.4 Merit Scholarship – Continuation / Batch Strength

Continuation | Automatically granted after declaration of results by the Controller of Examinations; letters are issued by the Registrar after approval of the Vice Chancellor and Chancellor. |
Tie in rank/position | Scholarship amount admissible for tied positions is equally shared among students having the same rank. |
Batch size | Scholarship amount varies according to batch size. |
3.5 General Conditions for Merit Scholarship

i | Students must satisfy the required attendance percentage. |
ii | Students with proven disciplinary charges are not eligible. |
iii | Students having a backlog in any paper in any semester are not eligible. |
iv | The number of students considered is based on students registered at the beginning of the year. |
v | If eligible for more than one scholarship/concession, the student must choose only one. |
vi | Non-Transferability of Merit Scholarship: If a student who is otherwise eligible for the Merit Scholarship voluntarily declines, relinquishes, or chooses not to avail of the scholarship, such scholarship shall stand forfeited for that academic session and shall not be transferred, reassigned, or offered to any other student, including the student next in order of merit. The decision of the University in this regard shall be final and binding. |
3.6 Differently-abled Scholarship
Eligibility: Minimum 40% disability certified by a competent medical authority of the student's home state, and minimum 50% marks (equivalent CGPA) in the qualifying examination.

3.7 Rajasthan Domicile Scholarship

4. General Eligibility & Selection
Aspect | Provision |
Basis of eligibility | Merit, merit-cum-means, reservation, government eligibility criteria, and other criteria as decided by the Committee and approved by the Vice Chancellor. |
Selection factors | Previous academic scholarship award, moral behavior, attitude, excellence in extracurricular activities, and financial hardship of meritorious candidates may be considered. |
Application | Eligible students must submit the University application form within the stipulated time. The Selection Committee may request additional information/documents. |
Responsibility | The student is responsible for submitting all documents. Incomplete or inadequate information may result in rejection. |
Approving authority | Scholarship Committee examines applications and recommends eligible candidates; the Vice Chancellor is the final authority to approve the award of scholarship. |
Scholarship mechanism | Scholarship Committee is responsible for policy formulation, selection scheme, implementation, and monitoring. |
Application deadline | The policy states that the last month for submission of the filled application form is September every year. |
5. Terms & Conditions

1 | Maximum one scholarship at a time. |
2 | Scholarships under all categories are limited to a maximum of 10% of sanctioned intake for the programme, excluding scholarships to girls. |
3 | Candidates enrolled in Ph.D. programmes are not eligible for the above scholarships. |
4 | Scholarship is subject to verification/authentication of information, certificates and documents. |
5 | Where eligible for another scholarship/financial aid/monetary benefit of the University, the student must opt for only one scheme. |
6 | Scholarship is offered at admission only and must be applied for with the admission application or before the prescribed date. |
7 | Scholarship applies to course tuition fee prescribed for the relevant term/semester; it does not apply to hostel, backlog, re-appear, examination, admission or other such fees. |
8 | Benefit is available for the normal duration of the course only; excess duration beyond the normal course duration is not covered. |
9 | Concealment, suppression or distortion of information that makes an applicant ineligible may result in cancellation of admission and/or scholarship. |
10 | For subsequent terms/years, only students against whom no disciplinary action has been initiated or taken during their stay at the University will be eligible, subject to other conditions. |
11 | The scholarships stated above apply to all courses. |
12 | Final selection is subject to completion of documentation and availability of seats and applicable terms and conditions on the date of admission. |
13 | Eligibility does not create a vested right to scholarship; final admissibility is decided by the University. |
14 | The decision of the competent authority of the University is final and binding on all concerned. |
