At University, the requirements of industry are entwined inseparably with the syllabi we teach. This is because we focus strongly on imparting knowledge that is “relevant” that will generate quick employment for the alumni, while being immediately useful for the employer. Further, by such measures as inviting senior industry professionals as both Visiting and Mentor faculty, involving students in industry-sponsored research, and providing them hands-on training on live industry projects, our alumni are virtually ‘ready to join’ on graduation.

Next-Gen digital technology drives everything at the University. This includes such functions as content development, teaching-learning pedagogy, evaluation & testing, and even university management. On one hand, the latest software and systems have been adopted for teaching and assessment that power our IT enabled laboratories and state-of-the-art AV studios. On the other, a wi-fi environment has been implemented campus-wide, that facilitates unfettered 24x7 connectivity between the students, the faculty, and the world at large.

The University, encourages the spirit of enquiry, among all students. A significant expression of this is the research-oriented work, that is an integral part of the every syllabus.
By being asked to pursue such projects on a regular basis, the student develops, a natural flair for ‘problem-solving’ and analytical thought -- brainstorming, hypothesizing, experimenting, considering alternatives, creatively discarding, documenting before arriving at the most appropriate solution. Lectures by leading professionals & case studies will be made available for student to incubate research and giving a research vision and exposure.

The University offers students a unique option of “customizing” their individual curriculum. This means that apart from a set of stipulated classroom inputs, the student has the freedom to choose a part of the ‘course’ from a variety of ‘subjects’ other than their regular stream. These include disciplines like the Arts, Sports, Community Services, Basic Sciences, Mathematics, Humanities, Languages and more. This is deliberately intended to encourage students to have open minds receptive to new knowledge & ideas, and ensure a more holistic development of their personality.

Entrepreneurship is not just about doing well. It can also be about doing good, as shown by successful innovators, who have launched or are leading successful social ventures in many fields. Whether the challenge is global warming or global poverty, entrepreneurs are exploring new, business-oriented, ventures that deliver promising solutions to this complex and urgent agenda. We offer courses and other activities for students interested in understanding this emerging domain of “social entrepreneurship” and perhaps considering making their own history in it.
