The “Dr. K N Modi University”, a non-profit institution, has been established, by Act No. 8 of 2010 passed by the Government of Rajasthan & recognized by UGC under section 2(F) of UGC Act, 1956.
The University is a result of a powerful vision to create a leading centre of learning in the region. It’s a dream that is being brought into realization by immaculate planning and dynamic execution.
Already, two Academic Blocks and a Students’ Hostel have been completed. This is enabling us to offer admissions to various courses related to the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology, as well as Faculty of Management & Business Studies etc.
The unique feature of our University is, even a student, soon after completing his 10th standard can directly enrole in the University for various diploma programs in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering etc.
The specific advantage of the above diploma program is that, any student who is completing the Diploma Program in our University can pursue further for degree programs by seeking direct admission to the second year of our regular engineering degree programs under lateral entry scheme.
However if a student want to pursue for any job, he can directly switch over to the industry sector even after successful completion of our diploma program.
Apart from these courses a students can also choose from one of these: BBA (Financial Accounting/Banking & Finance & Retail Management), Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) Marketing, Finance, HRM, IT, Retail Management & International Business, BCA, MCA, B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Aerospace Engineering etc.
M.Tech – Computer Science, VLSI Design, IT & Environment Engineering etc.
The University is also offering research programme leading to Ph.D in various fields of Arts, Commerce, Management, Computer applications, Humanities, Applied Science & Technology, Education etc.
With a focus on changing trends and emerging academics areas, Dr. K.N.Modi University will rapidly add newer courses and curricular from time to time.
