Is Dr. K. N. Modi University a recognized university?
 

Yes, DR.K.N.Modi University has been recognized by Rajasthan State Government under the Act 2010, (Act NO 8 of 2010). It’s covered under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act.

Is Dr. K. N. Modi University governed by the Government or by a Trust?
 

DR.K. N. Modi University is governed by a Trust namely Dr.Kedar Nath Modi Trust. .

Is Dr. K. N. Modi University AICTE recognized?
 

No, Universities are not recognized by AICTE.

Once recognized by the Government of Rajasthan through gazette notification as a Private University of the State, Dr. K. N. Modi University lose not require further from any agency. It must, however, follow the norms prescribed by the concerned statutory bodies. Dr.K.N.Modi University has been recognized by U.G.C and figures is the U.G.C list at No.

Is Dr. K. N. Modi University accredited by AICTE?
 

AICTE does not accredit institutions / Universities: National Board of Accreditation (NBA) established by AICTE accredits technical education programs. Another accreditation body, called National Assessment & Accreditation Council, established by the UGC, accredits universities. Dr. K.N.Modi University, like any other newly established university, would be accredited by NAAC within three years of its functioning.

Is Dr.K.N. Modi University covered under the UGC Act?
 

Yes, all state Universities are covered under section 2(f) of the UGC Act and Dr. K. N. Modi University is also covered under the same Act.

Are you the Deemed University?
 

No,Dr. K. N. Modi University is a State University passed by Rajasthan state government under the Act 2010, (Act No 8 of 2010).

What are the course / programs offered by Dr. K. N. Modi University at graduate level?
 

Dr.K. N. Modi University offers Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Application Course at Graduation, Post Graduation level & Research.

What is the medium of instruction in the class?
 

The medium of instruction is English an all class.

10.
What is the eligibility criteria & Minimum qualification required for admission?
 

BBA & BCA- Candidate should have secured minimum 50% marks in 10+2.

MCA- Candidate should be Graduate / BCA with Maths at 10+2 level and have secured minimum 50% marks from any Govt. recognized University.

MBA- Candidate should be Graduate and have secured minimum 50% marks from any Govt. recognized University. Admission will be given on the basis of Mahamaya Technical University score.

B. Tech- Candidate should have scoured minimum 50% marks in PCM at 10+2 level. Admission will be given on the basis of AIEEE ranking ant MTU score.

M. Tech – Candidate should have secured minimum 50% marks in B. Tech. Admission will be given on the GATE score.

Ph. D- Candidate should be post graduate In relevant subject with minimum 55% marks.

After completion of B. Tech from Dr.K.N.Modi University, will any public university in India or recognized foreign university accept me for the Master Program?
 

Yes, as a recognized university, Dr.K. N. Modi University will belong to the community of universities in the world. Any Indian or foreign university will recognized your degree.

Can I get admission based on entrance test alone?
 

Depending on the admission criteria, the admission will be based on merit in the entrance test or marks in the qualifying examination. However, all candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements.

As a state university in Rajasthan, does Dr.K. N. Modi University consider the state’s CET score for the purpose of the admission to B. Tech?
 

Dr.K. N. Modi University makes admission on all –India basis. But in case of students from Rajasthan we do take students who have appeared in RPET.

Am I eligible to apply for the B. Tech program without appearing for JEE or AIEEE?
 

As per the admission policy of Dr.K.N.Modi University, you are not eligible to apply for B. Tech program if you have not appeared in either JEE-AIEEE. But we do take students who have appeared in RPET/RMAT or any other state level entrance examination.

If I am currently studying in another B. Tech college and have completed 1-2 Years, can I join Dr.K.N.Modi Unievrsity in the 2nd / 3rd Year?
 

There is no facility for transferring credits into Dr.K.N.Modi University at present.

16.
Is there any minimum JEE or AIEE cut – off required for selection to the Merit List?
 

The selection process is not based only on the JKEE or AIEEE scores. It considers the Xth , XIIth, JEE / AIEEE scores and a candidate’s performance in the interview conducted by the university. The cut-off will be based on an aggregate score.

I have done my class XII from NIOS. Am I eligible to apply for the B. Tech of Dr.K. N. Modi University?
 

Yes, you are eligible. NIOS is a recognized Board for class X and Class XII, as any other recognized Board.

I have completed my class XII in the year 2009. I have taken AIEEE examination this year. Am I eligible to apply for the B. Tech program of Dr.K. N. Modi University?
 

Yes, you are eligible.

In class XII, will you consider PCM marks or aggregate?
 

We will consider the aggregate.

How can I procure application form? Can I apply online?
 

Application from can be procured from the following soures- Dr.K. N. Modi University, Corporate office ( 18, community Center, New Friends Colony, New Delhi-110025) or Dr.K.N.Modi University Campus, Newai, by paying Rs.1000/- in cash. From website by downloading the application from (Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- is to be enclosed with downloaded the application form in favour of Dr.K.N.Modi University, Newai). You may also pay inline. Dr.K.N.Modi University forms are also available at online Entrance Form.Com. Applying online by downloading application form from the website followed by paying Rs.1000/- through payment gateway.

Ragging in any form in strictly prohibited. There is strong vigilance to ensure enforcement of the policy.

What are the security measures adopted by the university?
 

University is a walled campus with a single entry and 24-hour security.

What other facilities are offred by the Dr.K.N.Modi Univetsity?
 

On Campus Facilities:

Infrastructure: At Dr.K.N.Modi University, has the excellent infrastructure including amphitheatre style classrooms, modern labs and the well stocked library provide a solid foundation for excellence in academics.

Syndicate Rooms: Syndicate Rooms provide appropriate environment for teamwork, where students master their team skills through exercises like brain-storming session, groups discussions, role plays etc.

Sports Facilities: The campus has standard jogging track, football ground, basketball & tennis courts, modern gymnasium along with other indoor games such as, table tennis etc.

Library: 26000 books are available in the library for the benefit of the students. All the Institutes have I ndividual libraries which are fully stocked with books, E-books, E-Journals & other E-contents according to the requirements of affiliating body.Dr K.N.Modi University is a member of DELNET.

Auditorium: A state-of-the-art 360 capacity auditorium acts as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interface and other management events. Individual Institutes have their own Auditoriums for their day to day requirements for holding seminars, conferences, guest lectures etc.

Is there any minimum JEE or AIEEE or any other entrance examination cut-off required for selection to the Merit List?
 

The selection process is not based only on the JEE or AIEEE scores. Class 12th scores & candidate’s overall performance including his extra-curricular activities like debates & declamations etc are also considered

Can PCB stream students also apply for B.Tech?
 

Only PCM stream can apply.

To take admission in M.Tech, does a candidate require to qualify Gate?
 

Dr. K.N.Modi University, we give admissions in M.Tech on the basis of GATE score. if the candidate does not have GATE score then he / she is required to appear in DKNMUET.

I have done my Class XII from NIOS. Am I eligible to apply for BTech/B.Pharm/BBA/BCA/ B.Com of Dr. K.N.Modi University?
 

Yes, you are eligible. NIOS is a recognized Board for Class X and Class XII, as any other recognized Board.

Do you offer the facility of Study Loans?
 

Dr. K.N.Modi University are in collaboration with its banking partner Punjab National Bank, which will assist in channelizing Education Loans to the willing students at convenient rates and terms. Students are free to avail of this facility. However, by such assistance, Dr. K.N.Modi University will not be a party to the Loan Agreement signed between the Bank and the student. Therefore, Dr. K.N.Modi University shall not be responsible for any liability.

How secure is the campus?
 

Dr.K.N.Modi University are walled campuses with a single entry and 24-hour security. In addition, state of-the-art security technology is being deployed to ensure complete safety for all residents.

What are DR. K.N. MODI FOUNDATION Institutes plans for the placement of UG and PG students?
 

Dr.K.N.Modi University is intimately linked with industry in all its activities from program curriculum design to program delivery. The Advisory Board (TAB) of Dr. K.N.Modi Foundation Institutes, comprising of leaders from education and IT industry will monitor the programs on a continuing basis. Further, every program – UG and PG – would send students out for six months to industry for their Industry Practice/ Internship. With such an extensive industry connect, placement of graduating students is expected to be smooth and natural. However, Dr. K.N.Modi University also have a strong placement cell to help students find their desired professional opportunities.

Can each student choose to study whatever courses she/he wants?
 

A student has to study certain prescribed compulsory courses. Apart from these, there are elective courses which a student can choose from the list of available courses. Thus, the curriculum is a blend of compulsory and optional courses.

How is the curriculum structured?
 

The curriculum is structured in consultation with eminent members of academia and industry professionals. The curriculum is comprehensive and gives exposure to basic sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and communication skills apart from professional courses, research project and hands-on in the industry.

We have Doctorates and Masters as our faculty members. In addition to the above faculty, DR. K.N. MODI University Institutes have Mentor Professors, who are senior academicians of repute. Founding Professors are eminent members of academia and industry, who epitomize academic excellence in their own domain.

What is the Foundation’s policy on ‘Ragging’?
